my daughter (6 years old) and I put together this element. I was letting her help a lot so it took about three hours to assemble. me I may be able to complete the Assembly in two hours. We just had a problem in all the steps. There is a slider that helps keep the removable top connected to the out door swing when in open position. pre-drilled holes for this latch type ended up being about 1/8 "to the far right which was enough to where the slide would not go up top folding. simple solution, I just new holes in the correct position. (photo attached) I have a small happy seamstress!

This desk is amazing. I use it as a craft desk, and to make it even MORE amazing, I screwed on some of those peg board panels on the inside and on the right side exterior. It is now a haven for itinerant tool, so easy to wheel over in front of the TV, but then return in a room well out of the way and out of sight when I'm done. so easy that I like to open the fold down top that makes half. It's too perfect.

I bought a used wood desk and retrofit in a mobile sewing machine for my brothers Innoiv-is 80 sewing machine using this lift in the closet. the elevator is quite heavyall metal, but as a woman 5 ' 2 "I was able to work with it. The instructions are minimal and I guess I was trying to make it more complicated than it is. Once I got the hang of it General, the rest was easy. Have been using it for over a year, and I am delighted with it. I took the Cabinet sewing machine exactly as you wanted it, and this elevator makes raising and lowering the very simple sewing machine. I need another person to help me keeping it to mark the holes for the screws and screw it in place.

perfect table for sewing! The drawers on the left provide plenty of space for threads, scissors etc. I would like to see the right side of the desk had drawers for more items. also, since I have a wall to wall carpet in my sewing room, it's hard for the "roll-out" to move freely. In addition to my sewing machine doesn't store in the space below. I suppose this could be used for space reasons or extra material. I haven't found a use for the lower section. to improve this, I add a strip of "taking" a plug-in car, sewing lamps, etc.

as a promotion in mind, I treated myself to this adjustable sewing table. I had ready screwdriver not to put together, but that's really no Assembly required! Popped Open the legs, it took me a few minutes to adjust to my sewing machine and viola! It doesn't swing, but I haven't sewn with it yet, but for small apartments or areas of work, this is a MUST have item! Best investment, especially if you quilt and need that little bit extra "flat-space".

exactly as advertised. However, La Bonissima fails to clarify the following; As the Cabinet rear panel controls Cabinet geometry (square), before nailing the back on you must ensure the Cabinet is perfectly square. as the instructions require installed back panel while the unit is laying flat on the floor, any out-of-square may not be obvious (or visible) until the Cabinet is straightened out on her feet. Then it's too late!

9/26/09-this/sewing craft center is exactly what I needed. not too big and neatly stores everything behind closed doors to keep one child out. I think the best part is it doesn't look like a sewing or craft center. the instructions are pretty easy to follow (all you get are images), although be sure to pay close attention to how a piece if the front because if not you will likely notice until you're almost done and it's too late to fix the problem. rather than solid wood, this is made of pressed wood, making it virtually impossible to cancel anything during the Assembly process. I rate this product 5 stars yet because I love hidden storage and fold the arm that almost doubles your workspace. 4/10/10-a year after & I still love this craft desk. hold still and I removed one of the plastic bins on the door and stuck one of those wooden spool yarn rack. now all my thread is stored neatly swing out doors. I added a smaller rack on the port framework for reels. I adjusted the shelves, so I can mount it too my serger inside the Cabinet. This thing has tons of space! I'm moving into a new home that this month we'll see how it holds up the pressed wood. 4/7/13 -4 years laterthis mobile is still steady and great work!

I love this closet!!! I put both of my cars on it and it works fine when I'm working on a quilt that I'm doing both quilting and applique at the same time. I like the way it folded down when I needed to move it.

This is a great product! Looks good and very functional. now as for putting it together, I read somewhere that my husband of Mrs has put together in 2 1/2 hours. Well, that's no quite how it worked for me. After 5 days, three hours a day, is now on the back together, but as this is how it is put together. as I am much closer to 70 years older than 65 years. and as I live alone, this lovely sewing cabinet will remain on the back until I can recruit enough support for finally doing it right up! The instructions are not that bad. a few small errors that can be easily corrected, as requested in two different sizes for the same tools operation? The diagrams are good. the photos are black and white and not always very helpful, but the text is very clear statements and should be read very carefully, so as not to make the mistake that I made: namely installing a piece upside down in one of the first steps but did not discover the mistake until five days! One thing that could facilitate the process would be that a list of tools needed up front in the instructions. I'm really looking forward to using this sewing Cabinet as soon as I can get it right up!

received this as a gift for Christmas 2010. fairly easy to install, although it took a couple of hours. the air-lift works great! We had to give a few "tweaks" to adjust the proper height, but all-in-all was new, quite easy to adjust. We ordered the insert designed for the machine, which works much better than the generic insert included with Cabinet. use of suitable insert makes for an area of flat seam, that you can't get with generic insert.

I would really recommend this unit! It is one of the best designed unit that I saw. due to its heavy construction and design for Assembly. It is a very complex unit, but the Instruction booklet is one of the best I have seen, and very complete. has a large amount of hardware provided and once again stunned that all parts where there, and the count was right on! I have a Pfaff quilters machine that is dead and needs parts. is going to cost about double the cost of this machine for repair. so I thought what the heck. I've been sewing since primary school in 1960 and have used all types of machines. I also worked in a fabric store for a number of years. I have some advice for the beginner. various reviews of this machine are complaining about some problems that I thought I would speak here. This is a nice little machine. Initially I had problems with it. discovered that the threading instructions Picture in the instruction book is a little difficult. do not forget to insert the small bracket that is located above the needle. is step 7 in the book, but it's not evident in the photo and not evident on the machine. the thread passes through the metal support fairly obvious in step six, then it needs to go in that small little band, a small piece of metal that sits atop Mount of the needle. If you do not, the thread that thread will be up under ball and ruin your sewn and lock-up. I suggest you stop in a Joann fabrics where they sell this machine and ask someone to show you if you can't find it. Here's what I ended up doing. even for the beginner, Singer machines in particular can also tangle the thread if you don't have the ends gently at the beginning of a seam. Sometimes, the thread will be pulled down in the bobbin area and lock-up. This issue is resolved simply by holding the ends for the first couple of points. in the end, having had some pelleted seams RIP, remember. I made a heavy vinyl pouch with it as my first project, and it handled the vinyl really well.Read more ›

sewing machine & mesh. I made my little bedroom in my craft room. with 3 knitting machines set up I need a small table for my sewing machine sewing machines. I have Brother PC420 machines, brother, brother CS-8072 750 d & little brother serger 1034 d. plan to buy the cover stitch machine Brother in the near future. searched all over the web looking for a table small enough to fit in this space & finally found with the sewing table of Miam. the work space to the left of the table folds down so that it takes up less space. It has wheels that I can use to roll the table out from the wall & then push it back when I am finished with it. I wish the storage space on the right side of the table was square rather than curved doors that he &. I really not much shelf space, but overall, this is the perfect table for me. I put together myself so you know it was not very difficult. I had the table for several months & it worked fine for me.

This is a great device for the money. There has been some comments about the lack of finish in dark parts of the table. in fact they ' go away ' when one gets and installs a acrylic insert form fitted. These (insert) is almost a must for better function how to sew (only one instance of fer). This sewing table is very well built, for the money. While not many favor particle board it can be lived with if one realizes that it is not to be danced upon. the tubular steel chassis is well executed and more sufficient to provide a sturdy support and give long life. the height adjustment is smart enough, it may seem basic but is actually very functional and coarse and fine adjustments. the next step in the hierarchy of the sewing machine table was a bit shocking to me. I couldn't find a happy medium and after looking invested and stroked ol' Gidget2 and said it was wonderful. for $ 180 I don't fault. There are other models of Gidget for less money and if you have a sewing machine with a small foot print than the brother PQ 1500 or Juki TL series ' class ' will be even better as will fit so close (inclusion/opening which is considerably smaller) you could avoid success $ 50 S & H for a acrylic insert mounted.

This sewing Center is great for ironing between each seam-ideal for when I'm putting a Quilt sewing. because I'm not constantly having to get up for iron, makes it much more efficient; collection is faster. Additionally, it keeps my space much more organized. the waste/scrap bag is a great help, and having my cutter, scissors and other tools immediately at hand is extremely convenient pockets. I was initially worried that it might slip on the table, but it has been very stable and a very good base for my sewing machine. I like it-much more than I expected, in fact. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who sews, even occasionally.

Very pleased with the quality of this armoire. It was relatively easy to assemble and service was excellent. My husband broke one of the drawers by putting it in but the company has replaced quickly and at no cost.

for the price this is a great sewing Cabinet. After using it a few months I think I've recovered from the assembly process. that is the most painful part of this element. what they don't tell you is that you need metric wrenches to assemble this cabinet. you will also need at least two people to put together. the signs included in the box are explicit and leave much to be desired. many times we would have to read them over and over again, watch the video installation from the website and then hope that we were right because they don't show how some things needed to be connected, which is what screws go, how something should be facing.etc. It was a painful experience. they really need to hire someone to help you re-write the Assembly instructions. the video is a bit useful, but I also found some parts of it missing. did not follow the same procedure as the written directions which can create confusion and not showing how some things should have been attached. Once we got everything put together works well. the only problem I have now is that the leaves do not want to stay open. I need to do to keep them open beanbag Doorstop. probably has something to do with the way that we hooked up the hinges, I don't know.. my car fits very well in the Cabinet. I have a combo of sewing/embroidery machine (Husqvarna Viking Topaz 20) and there is plenty of room for it. I ordered a custom acrylic insert machine that works very well. The cabinet has minimal vibration when sewing and quilting at high speeds. the airlift is wonderful! It is so nice to be able to bring my car to level with the rest of the desk to do embroidery and then lower it down when I sew. Read more ›
A couple of days ago. I search for information on the Singer CG590 Commercial Grade Sewing Machine, so i would like to bring a story to tell.
I am pleased with the performance of CG590 so far. I purchased it as a replacement for my original singer/Merritt 1827 I purchased more than 20 years ago that also worked like a champ until it mysteriously disappeared. Once again, I agree with others, there are plastic parts that do not care for, as Arm lift presser feet. It works just like it should! Don't get me wrong, but that just "feels" less robust. the trolling CG590. make no mistake, if you're not careful and very cautious with the foot pedal, without the needle guard, you could really do some damage, but if you are in control and have a lot of yardage to get through, this is the car to do it. just make sure that the work surface is also heavy. the engine in this child is so strong that you shake your table and with little suction cups at the base (Yes, ha!), the machine WILL MOVE if the table is not absolutely solid. great machine from singer! I had been depressed by the whole word that the singer had gone completely made of plastic and not worth no more. It is not so! You can also purchase (or use your old!) solid metal legs if you're like me and totally hate plastic ones. It's just a personal thing and I don't feel safe using a snap-on anything when I'm sewing. I'm a little rough, I think. non-woven fabrics for upholstery or sailcloth for me yet, but I did manage four and eight layers of fabric and velcro guiding hand on it without problems.

I worked with these really old sewing machines, large and clumsy when I was about 8-13 years under the supervision of my mother and grandmother. now I'm 25 and recently decided that I needed a sewing machine for my. I don't have room for any great machine similar to what I was used to, so I figured a little laptop should do the job for me. I had a really cheap $ 30 set by Walgreens, and that has stopped working 5 minutes out of the box. thought I should be a bit more serious, so I opted to spend more than I really wanted to get this. I'm very glad I did. I just got it today. the manual is super easy to understand. I had never a threaded on my machine before, but there is also a numbered guide on the machine to tell you where to go upper thread. the Guide on the machine over the simple instructions in the manual made it a breeze's threading. with the foot pedal, it's pretty easy to control the speed. I read some reviews on similar machines (a brother one in particular that I was even watching) with complaints it goes from 0 to 100, with anything in between. not so with this. is very quiet. It's a bit embarrassing to have the upper horizontal coil, but it works. is a bit heavier than I expected, but that makes it more robust. It has a small compartment that is really comfortable and a nice way to keep everything in one place. It has a small lever to lock, which I like very much. comes with a neat little cover that has a slot in the top for carrying handle. overall, it is a very simple machine that works well, is easy to use and easy to understand.
